Kendall Farr is a fashion stylist and top-selling style author with extensive experience    in fashion editing, styling for advertising and commercials, styling for retail and e-commerce, brand building, trend analysis, and fashion direction.

Farr edits and styles looks that enhance brand positioning and messaging. A frequently quoted style expert for magazines such as In Style, Glamour, Real Simple, Lucky, and Self, Farr has been a media spokesperson on fashion and style.

She has styled many celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Sigourney Weaver, Diane Sawyer, Julie Bowen, Diane Lane for editorials, ad campaigns for fashion and beauty brands, and as private clients for The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, Cannes Film Festival, and for personal and on-air wardrobes. Her expertise includes creating dynamic images for brands as diverse as Revlon, LVMH, HSN, and Kohl’s.

She was selected from hundreds of influencers to join the social shopping platform OpenSky.com, named by Fast Company as one of the 50 most innovative companies in the world. Farr identified small and emerging apparel and accessory brands for sale in her own store on the site, generating 333,000 followers in less than a year.

Farr has an accomplished editorial and writing background. She wrote The Pocket Stylist, published by Gotham/Penguin, which is now in its 11th printing and has been translated into seven languages including Chinese and Russian. She followed up with Style Evolution, How To Create Ageless Personal Style. She has styled stories for American and foreign editions of Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Marie Claire, and InStyle. Her work has also appeared in Harpers & Queen, Tatler and Grazia.

Currently Farr is a founding partner for PersonalShopping.com, where she is the  Fashion Director and Chief Shopper, spearheading all merchandising and editorial content. She has a B.A. in English Literature from Wheaton College.
